After spending a good amount of time toying with space, perspective and infinity (pool) we made our way out of the Valnerina and down to Spoleto for a day of city strolling. It's an old quiet city with lots of charm. When the sun started getting high we took our packed lunch and crossed the Ponte delle due Torri to the hills on the far side of the ravine and noshed on some assorted provisions. After buying some local goods (grappa, truffles, olive oil, figs, etc.) we headed back to Geppa to enjoy the waning daylight by the pool.
